WASLA Student Chapter
The Washington State Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects (WASLA) is an organization representing the profession of Landscape Architecture in Washington State.

The Student Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) at the University of Washington, UW-ASLA, is a chance for students to play a role in the formation and meaning of their education. By connecting the classroom experience to the profession in creative ways, students increase their connection to what it really means to be a landscape architect and a designer.

UW-ASLA works to connect students to professionals through a very successful mentoring program, to provide student feedback at faculty meetings, and to plan inter-class and inter-college communication through brown bag lunch discussions and social gatherings. Additionally, UW-ASLA strives to provide to students resources that might not be readily available, like more useful and efficient computer software and hardware.

Currently UW-ALSA’s active programs and activities include Technology support, brown bags seminars, and a successful mentor program with local working professionals
