GRANTS

$396,994	U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Affairs. For a 3-year interdisciplinary Community Outreach Partnership Centers Program (COPC) focused on providing affordable housing to farmworkers in the Yakima Valley in Washington state.
$125,154	King County Housing Authority, 2002-2004 For evaluation research project of the redevelopment of a public housing site in HUD's HOPE VI program. In collaboration with Rachel Kleit, Daniel Evans School of Public Affairs, Univ. of Washington.
$33,327	Royal Research Fund University of Washington, 2001 Grant for studying place meanings and community development in Chinatown/International District. Co-Principle Investigators: Jeffrey Hou and Daniel Abramson.
$1500	Environmental Design Research Association, 2000 Secured funding for international professional conference events
$350,000	New York State Department of Labor for the Jackson Heights C.D.C., 1997-1999 Secured state grant to run a 3-year local economic development program in New York City.
